Leopards claw their way back in dramatic 7th inning comeback. MacLaren's Pub looked to be coasting to another win to remain the leagues only undefeated team. It was the bottom of the 7th, two outs and nobody on. The leopards were trailing 15-9 to start the inning, but Nick Adams (3-4, 4 RBIs) had just sparked them with his second home run of the game, cutting the lead to 5. After the 2nd out, Dave Bornstein (3-4) tripled to deep center and almost got thrown out at third. A bad throw to first then kept the inning alive and brought up the bottom half of the lineup. Then the Leopards got hungry, 6 straight clean singles by Temple Houston, Mario Leitao, Mike Merlino, John Machiski, Keith Blicht (3-3 who came in the 5th), brought the tying run to third with bases loaded and Clay Petry at the plate. The leagues number one overall pick came through with a single by short, the Mike Merlino scores from third to tie it, and here comes John Machiski, holy cow I think he's going to make it... safe at home, Leopards pull off one of the best comebacks in LVC history. For MacLaren's, despite missing their number one pick, they had 23 hits. David Drillings was 4-5 with an inside the park HR in the top of the 7th and rookie Steve Wortman was 4-4 with 3 RBIs.
