Hawaiians Rise Above the Stars. Clay Petry may not have the best taste in uniforms, but he sure can manage his team. The Hawaiians have rebounded from a slow regular season start to Wolford Cup Champions. Kevin Petry had a key first inning two run single and the Hawaiians (plus Dave Plishka and Jason Crimmins as subs) shot down the Stars 17-11. Clay homered once and collected 4 RBIs while Dennis O'Dowd was 4-5 with 4 RBIs. For the Stars Brad Bennis homered twice.

The Gamblers Run Out of Luck. The Gamblers walked Brad Bennis twice and both times Greg George made them pay. The first inning Greg doubled in two runs and the Stars never looked back. Brad Bennis was 2-2, Joe Giordano 3-4 and Greg George was 3-4 with 4 RBIs. For Houston Jason Crimmins and Wally Kamienski were both 2-3.

9 Bandits Hold up the Generals. Mark Davis (3-5) led off, had 3 hit and 4 RBIs but didn't score a run, but 13 other Bandits scored and the Bandits advance to the semi finals and play the winner of the Hawaiians vs Stars. Jim Halpin was 3-5, Ryan Coletti 2-3 and Brad Botelho was steller at 2nd. For the Generals Eric Rosenberg, Mike Citron and John Spielberger were all 3-4.

Austin Powers the Dons. Austin Tarlowe's (3-4) hard work paid off big today. Alex Conklin hit a 3 run HR in the 1st but the Bulldogs come back strong in the 3rd when John Sanzone and Bob Fass doubled and Len Tarnoff singled in two runs to take a 5-4 lead. With the score tied 6-6 in the bottom of the 7th, Jim Laden and Jeff Tarlowe both single, then with 2 outs and a runner on third, Austin blasts a deep walk off single to center. Bob Fass was 3-3 for the Bulldogs.
