Alex Conklin Puts On A Fireworks Display in 3 HR, 11 RBI Night. Alex Conklin(3-3) had the stroke going tonight, lighting up the sky with 3 monster homeruns high up in the trees (see twitter video below). There's a good chance Alex broke a LVC record or two with his 11 RBI's including 7 RBI's in one inning. The Playaz Club took advantage of a shorthanded Martini's team, (missing their leading hitter and manager Bob Fass and playing with 2 subs) to combine for 27 runs off 27 hits. Three Playaz batters had 3 hits including Alex who was 3-3, John Spielberger who was 3-4 with 2 RBI's a double and triple and Barry Davis who was 3-4 with 4 RBI's. Ralph Aiello, Jake Spielberger and Austin Tarlowe were all 2-3. Batting 1st and 2nd Jake and Shaun Spielberger both had two hits and a few walks and scored all 4 times they came to the plate. The Playaz welcomed a new player tonight, Mark Johnson, Mike Johnson's son who was a perfect 2-2 tonight with 2 RBI's. For the Martini's Bruce Dostal(3-3)and Frank McNally(2-2) were both perfect at the plate and so was sub Nick Adams, going 2-2 batting lefting. Dave Picon was 2-3.
